Multi Class Classification:
- It refers to a classification task with more than 2 classes.
- The output is always one of the classes in the total class available
- The outputs are always mutually exclusive
- The output layer generally used is a softmax layer
Multi-Label Classification:
- Here the input is assigned with a set of labels
- The output may contain 0 or more labels
- The outputs are not mutually exclusive
- The number of nodes in the output layer matches the number of classes generally each node will have a sigmoid activation function
